When You Create an Account
If you register, we collect your username, email address, and a hashed version of your password. We never store your password in plain text.
When You Vote
We use a persistent cookie (named "fft_visitor") to track your votes and prevent duplicate voting. We store a cryptographic hash of this cookie — not the cookie value itself. We also store a hash of your IP address for fraud detection purposes. We never store your raw IP address.
Page View Analytics
We collect anonymous page view data including: the page visited, a hash of your IP address and browser user agent (for unique visitor estimation), your referrer URL, and the time of visit. This data is used solely for internal analytics and is automatically deleted after 90 days.
Cookies We Use
- fft_visitor — A persistent cookie (1 year) used to identify your browser for vote tracking. Contains a random identifier, not personal data.
- PHPSESSID — A session cookie required for login functionality and CSRF protection. Deleted when you close your browser.
- fft_dark_mode — Stores your dark mode preference (value "0" or "1"). Purely functional.
- fft_cookie_consent — Records that you've acknowledged our cookie usage.

Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not use third-party tracking cookies

- We do not store raw IP addresses
Data Retention
Account data is retained as long as your account exists. You may request account deletion by contacting us. Anonymous analytics data (page views) is automatically deleted after 90 days.
Your Rights
You can delete your account and all associated data by contacting us. You can clear your cookies at any time through your browser settings, which will reset your voting history.
Third-Party Services
